One look at today’s news reports and you can see that the world is in a bad situation. The economic systems of modern society are failing, the value of the dollar is dropping, and negative reports of impending financial crises are bombarding us from every side. Amid the bad reports and temptation to become fearful about the future, you can turn to the Word of God for strength and wisdom. Your knowledge of His promises gives you the confidence needed to weather the storms of these Last Days.

Regardless of what the world is experiencing, you’ve been destined for increase. God made a covenant with you, through His Son Jesus Christ, that guarantees increase. People around you may be frantically trying to figure out how they’re going to make it, but you don’t have to figure anything out if you know and understand your covenant with God.

The Word of God says increase is good. This destroys the religious belief that God is somehow pleased when you’re in lack. The Lord is mindful of you and has promised to increase you more and more, you and your children. What a powerful promise! God is intimately acquainted with your individual situation and circumstance. He knows what you’re facing now, as well as what lies ahead of you, so don’t worry. Focus on His love and His promise to take care of you.

God has blessed, or empowered you to prosper in everything you do. Getting into His Word and finding out what it says about you catapults you into victory. Regardless of whether the economy is failing or a recession is predicted, because of God’s blessing and the wisdom that comes from His Word, you’re equipped to be successful. Being armed with the Word allows you to rest in the midst of turmoil and uncertainty. Once you are secure in what God has promised you, you’ll begin to expect increase and provision, not lack and insufficiency.

What enemies are you confronting in life? Are debt, sickness, depression, or lack sources of stress? Perhaps some ungodly person is coming against you in some way. Regardless of the enemy’s name, God’s promise of increase is greater. You’re on your way to a bigger and better place. You’re destined for increase, and nothing can hinder you. I encourage you to hold on to God’s promises of increase with all you have. Saturate your consciousness with the truth of God’s Word, and your confidence will soar.

I encourage you to hold on to God’s promises of increase with all you have. Saturate your consciousness with the truth of God’s Word, and your confidence will soar.
