For the week of September 3, 2018 The Spiritual Law of Provision

The world is ruled by fear. We can hold ourselves back from success because of the way we think. Some people are afraid of financial wealth, prosperity, and abundance. As God’s children, we never have to tolerate lack or insufficiency on any level. We can completely trust in His promise to supply all our need, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Long ago, God made the necessary provisions for everything we need. In addition to financial security, our provisions also include healing, deliverance, peace, joy, and authority over adversity. We’ve been given everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Jesus. According to spiritual law, a relationship with Him puts us in a position to lay hold of these provisions.

It’s not God’s will for believers to live without enough, or struggle with issues that hold them back from success. Everything we see in the natural realm begins in the spiritual realm, and God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. To be blessed is to be empowered to have success in every arena of life, because of His favor toward us. Once God has blessed us, His blessing can’t be reversed; this pledge to us is based on Jesus’ finished works.

The faithful man abounds with blessings. Blessings from the Lord make one truly rich with no sorrow attached. Being truly rich means there’s nothing missing and nothing broken in any area of our lives—including our finances. Consciously choosing to accept God’s blessings causes them to manifest themselves in the physical realm, and we receive breakthrough when we receive by faith what His grace has made available to us.

Prayer:

Lord, You want prosperity and abundance for us. In You, we find more than enough of what we need, and we’ll never lack for anything. Thank You for sending Your Son to teach us the truth about Your provision. In Jesus’ name, amen.
